Introduction - Laboratory for Electroacustics and Audio Techniques

The Laboratory for Electroacoustics and Audio-Technique is intended for performing part of the laboratory exercises from the subjects "Acoustics and Audio-Technique" and "Processing and economical transmission of speech signal". Given the very low level of ambient noise (30dBA) and relatively good isolation, research related to automatic speech recognition and analysis of logatomic and sentence intelligibility must first be reported in a quiet room before analysis in a noisy environment. This Laboratory has such "quit" room, and in the room, it is possible to measure the reverberation time (as the most important parameter of the room acoustics assessment) and the absorption coefficient of the material, as well as to record the hearing threshold of the sense of hearing.
